James D. Desmond

Jim is a native of Louisville, KY and a resident of Jefferson County. He is a graduate of Eastern High School. He attended Indiana University, Bloomington where he graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. He attended law school at the University of Kentucky where he earned his Juris Doctorate and graduated with honors in the top 25% of his class. When not representing his clients, Jim enjoys spending time with his adopted children, Alexis, 8 and Chase, 3. He also enjoys world travel, scuba diving, and cooking.

My name is Jim Desmond and very simply, I want to earn your present and future business.

I am licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Indiana. My legal practice is devoted entirely to car and motorcycle accidents. I have been practicing law since 1993 and I have done everything from defend insurance companies to recover money for health insurance carrier. However, at this point in my career, my practice is devoted exclusively to representing those people who have been injured because of a car or motorcycle accident.

I do understand what you are going through. I personally have seen the stress caused by a motor vehicle accident. I have handled personal injury cases for my parents, an aunt and even my wife. Also, when it comes to loved ones, I have unfortunately experienced the death of a wonderful daughter so I understand what it is like to lose a loved one or fear the same.

If I practiced several areas of the law, I could not probably achieve these goals.
